We have reached a tentative agreement for CWA members under the Orange contract at AT&T Mobility. The agreement includes substantial improvements in wages and working conditions!
After nearly four months of hard-fought bargaining, we are excited to announce we have a Tentative Agreement that your bargaining team unanimously supports and that you can be proud of.
The last couple of weeks have seen some progress at the table, but we do remain far apart on some important issues
The Orange Bargaining Committee met several times with AT&T over the past week, and we can report that your mobilization efforts and support have resulted in some progress at the bargaining table.
AT&T continues to post reports about how much they value you as employees. It would be great if their proposals reflected that value.
While the Orange Bargaining Committee continues negotiations with AT&T, they continue to put out
misleading bargaining reports like the one dated today. Once again, we must clear up their spin with the
facts:
“Skip No Steps” is a directive for CWA members to follow all management-mandated work rules, union contracts, and company policies exactly as written.
The company has decided that bargaining reports with half-truths and omitted information is the way they want to release updates, so we will help fill in the blanks and clear up any confusion.
