CWA Strong is Union Strong

Contracts

CWA Local 9333 represents 400 workers in both the public and private sectors. Your union contract is one of the most valuable assets a worker can have.

Collective bargaining is the process in which people, through their unions, negotiate contracts with their employers to determine their terms of employment, including pay, benefits, hours, leave, job health and safety policies, ways to balance work and family, and more.

Grievances

Union members have the right to a grievance procedure to assure prompt and equitable solutions of problems arising from the administration of the contract.

Grievances are violations or misinterpretation or misapplication of rules or regulations, existing policies, orders, letters of memoranda or agreement, administrative decisions, or laws, applicable to the agency or department that establishes terms and conditions of employment.

Representation

If you have a problem at work, your Shop Steward or Union Representative is there for you.

Shop Stewards are your coworkers, elected by members to be the representative in the workplace. They are direct advocates for our sisters and brothers in the workplace and a vital link between CWA elected officers and the employer and the members.
