We are excited to announce that the application process for the CWA Joe Beirne Foundation’s scholarship for the 2025-2026 school year will be opening soon
The Union Plus Scholarship Program is gearing up to review thousands of applications from current and prospective college, university, and technical or trade school students.
Since 1991, the Union Plus Scholarship Program has awarded more than $5.2 million to students of working families who want to begin or continue their post-secondary education. More than 3,600 families have benefited from our commitment to higher education.
The Joe Beirne Scholarship Program offers sixteen partial college scholarships of $4,000 each. CWA members and their spouses, children, and grandchildren, including those of retired or deceased members are eligible for the scholarship. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2023.
