I have worked for AT&T about 24 years as of November in that time I have worked as an RT, MST and currently a Construction Splicer out of Modesto and have been a steward for many year and serve as the Modesto E Board member
My vision for the future of the union is to bring all of us to common ground and to get more members involved and keeping all members informed of what is going on.
Most of all I would like to see all the members get involved and vote on who is going to lead the local for the next three years
So this year the members have a choice so please vote make your voice heard
My name is Elaine Savaiki and currently the president of CWA Local 9333. I am writing this letter to you because I am seeking to be re-elect for the position of President.
I have served in the last 2 terms in this position. My administration was able to reorganized our financial portfolio and invest back into our members. Under my leadership we have improved in communication in-fracture by upgrading our website and social media outlets.
I have established contacts and created relationships with vendor that provide education, financial benefits and insurance because of your continue membership with this local. I have also managed to create working relationship with upper management for the Telco side and Twain-Harte Water District. Recently, I was able to negotiate a 5 year contract for the Twain-Harte Water District, without any work disruption. I also have fought for members of Local 9333 going against the District 9 regarding home dispatching for AT&T core. Currently, Home dispatching is not in the AT&T Core Appendix A, but during the Pandemic I went against the District 9 and allowed the members to do it. I will continue to fight.
If elected again, my goals to continue to fight for job security. I know that we have to be active in the Legislative side. We must continue to support bills that support Labor. I will endorse education to the members because I believe that education will allow you to be asset. I will also continue to fight the injustices that Companies may impose on the members of this Local. I am asking for your support and your vote. Please exercise your right to vote.
