CWA represented AT&T members have a $1200 yearly negotiated Educational benefit that will cover the cost of these courses under the Horizons program.
This class is intended for new Local 9333 Stewards. It will be held at 4713 Greenleaf Ct, Suite B, Modesto, CA 95356 from 8am to 1pm. Please have New Steward

As an aging workforce and a lack of interest among young people threaten to derail nationwide broadband access efforts, the industry’s stakeholders must come together to face what has become a massive fiber skills gap, said Deborah Kish, VP of workforce development at the Fiber Broadband Association (FBA).
Network+ Certification training will take place 3 nights a week, from August 22 to September 21st
Network+ is geared to prepare members for entry-level network support.
CWA has secured over $5 million in grants to expand fiber technician apprenticeship programs in California, laying groundwork for accelerated adoption of registered apprenticeships nationwide.
Fundamentals of Electronics for Telecommunications Technology is a course specifically designed for the telecommunications worker. Topics covered represent a survey of DC/AC & Digital electronics with basic networking technology. Learning these elements will assist you in the preparation for the TKT II employer exam.
