What is the Women’s Committee?
The committee will be a powerful force focused on:
- Empowerment: Building confidence and providing opportunities for women in our Local to take on leadership roles.
- Advocacy: Identifying and addressing workplace and union issues that disproportionately affect women.
- Networking: Creating a supportive sisterhood through meetings, workshops, and social events.
