Any CWA member in District 9 that is affected by the current wildfires or future disaster in California/Nevada can apply for assistance. Any questions can be directed to Local 9404 at 707-645-8927.
In addition to the District 9 Fund is the CWA Disaster Relief Fund whose sole purpose is to assist members who experience financial hardship due to a natural disaster as declared by FEMA. The Fund will award the member with a grant based on their essential losses and damages associated with their primary home. Once an application is filled out, please submit it to Cherie Brokaw, Staff Representative, at cbrokaw@cwa-union.org.
