We are announcing the application process for the CWA Joe Beirne Foundation’s scholarship for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Foundation’s Board of Directors has approved the awarding of sixteen (16) partial college scholarships of $4,000 each for two years. Eligible for the scholarships are CWA members, their spouses, children, and grandchildren, including the dependents of retired, laid-off, or deceased members. Applications will be available solely online for submission on the Foundation’s website at https://cwa-union.org/beirne-application.
The Foundation’s Board of Directors also approved the addition of one (1) new scholarship in the name of “Addie Brinkley RMC Lifetime Member Scholarship” for the sole use of RMC Lifetime members, their spouses, their dependents or their grandchildren in the amount of $4,000 annually for up to two years. RMC President Gwen Parker will be distributing a notice to the RMC Lifetime members with the details of the process once it has been established with the goal of an official launch in November 2026.
